The Cummins 17kW Home Standby Generator is designed for cold weather, providing full home coverage during outages. It requires a separate Cummins Onan Automatic Transfer Switch.

Ready for extreme cold, the Cummins RS17AE model operates at temperatures as low as -40 degrees Fahrenheit. It shares the same features and benefits as the Cummins Quiet Connect series for warmer climates.

This cold weather generator permanently connects to your home via an automatic transfer switch, utilizing the existing natural gas or propane supply. It continuously monitors the power company's lines and automatically activates during an outage, running until power is restored.
